Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Layers (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to all of the Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

2. Use of the Service

  • You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service.
  • You agree not to use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose.
  • You are responsible for any activity that occurs under your account.

3. Intellectual Property

All content and materials available on the Service, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, are the property of Layers or its licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws.

4. Platform Integrations (Instagram & TikTok)

Layers integrates with Instagram and TikTok APIs to let you create, schedule, and publish content directly from our platform. By connecting your social accounts, you grant Layers permission to use the respective API solely for the purpose of posting content that you create within the Service. We will never:

  • View or store your direct messages.
  • Access your followers list beyond publish scopes.
  • Like, comment, or follow on your behalf without your action.

You retain full ownership of content posted via Layers. You can revoke access at any time through the security settings of Instagram or TikTok. Upon revocation, Layers will delete any stored tokens associated with your social account.

5. Termination

We may terminate or suspend your access to the Service immediately, without prior notice or liability, for any reason whatsoever, including without limitation if you breach the Terms.

6. Limitation of Liability

In no event shall Layers, nor its directors, employees, partners, or suppliers, be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of your use of or inability to use the Service.

7. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.

8. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. If a revision is material we will provide at least 30 days' notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
